Basic Dough

RS general board

Place in 4 qt. bowl:
1/2 lb. butter
3/4 c. sugar
pour 2 c. warm milk over above. Let stand.
Mix:
2 yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 T. sugar - let stand 5 minutes
Add:
3 beaten eggs and yeast mixture
1 t. salt
6 c. flour
Beat with spoon - no kneading. Let raise 1 1/2 hour. Stir down let rise again. 45 minutes. Shape rolls, let raise 30 min. 375 20 minutes.
